WINEMAKER NOTES The 2020 Ironstone Vineyards Port is a Portuguese-styled Port made of two classic Portuguese port varietals: 50% Souzão grape and 50% Tinta Negra (Tinta de Madeira). These premium grapes were allowed to ripen on the vine for an extended period of time before harvesting to ensure richer, fuller varietal characteristics. To ensure quality, Ironstone practices the same traditional production methods used in the Douro region of Portugal where the very best ports in the world are made.
